Super Ley

This is a very clean and accessible supermarket in Rocky Point.  The store superintendent was very helpful in locating some foodstuffs we wanted.  The signage inside is in both Spanish and English.   They also have an HSBC and a Banamex atm for those that need it.  It is centrally located.  If you can get to this place, and are looking for groceries, you will find good quality product for a fraction of what you would pay at other touristy businesses in the area.

The language barrier, both verbal and on the packaging, is an issue to consider. If you speak the language or bring along a friend who does, this is a major step in getting the right drugs at the right dosage. Rocky Point Times

The “Rocky Point Times” is a must-read.  You may view it online atwww.rptimes.com prior to arriving.  The Times is available at most shops and stores throughout town.  You will find the latest information including weather; events and local restaurants.   

Almas Gemelas, LLC values the natural resources that make the Hacienda such a wonderful vacation destination.  Sea life conservation is a big part of that.  To learn more please visit CEDO, the conservation center, museum, and gift shop right off the main road in Las Conchas (marked with a sign and a giant whale bone skeleton).

 A) Please do not remove sea life from the water.  During low tide in front of Hacienda Almas Gemelas, the sea reveals amazing rocky tide pools great for exploring and finding many different kinds of sea life.  Common in these pools are crabs, starfish, sea stars, sea slugs, snails, and small fish.  (Water shoes are strongly recommended for walking on the rocky tide pools)  Please “Take only pictures, leave only sand prints.”
